About Victoria Sharp
My name is Victoria
I am a Trauma Informed Psychotherapist, Women's circle facilitator and Meditation and Breathwork Coach.
Meditation and Breathwork form an integral part of all my therapeutic work with clients and I also deliver sessions in group settings for people who are new to meditation. Our lives are increasingly dependent on being busy and productive which leads to chronic levels of stress.
Experiences, often traumatic, that evoke strong emotions such as fear, sadness or shame are viewed as weak, indulgent or needy and so we do our best to keep them hidden and keep on going. However, if we continue to ignore stress and signs that things are not right in our emotional world, we become overwhelmed, disconnected and anxious.
Meditation and Breathwork provide simple, accessible skills that enable us to regulate our emotions, feel safely connected to our experiences and find a sense of balance and peace.
